Established in 2001, we were the first high-speed Internet provider in Junction City and Harrisburg and have continued to grow our business in both rural and urban communities. We offer services through a variety of mediums including wireless and fiber. We pioneered “gigabit Internet” in the greater Eugene area and have benefited countless businesses, schools, and the public sector. We’re rapidly growing and need to add to our staff. XS Media is a great company to work for with most of our employees having several years of tenure.
Job Description: The position requires an organized and friendly individual who can work with new commercial clients to make sure their services are installed according to their unique needs. This includes coordination with clients on Internet, phone, structured wiring, and several other services. Industry knowledge is not required to apply, but the position will require an understanding of technical details related to telecom. Must be willing and eager to learn new skills and technologies. This position will also help take commercial phone calls, manage several independent projects at once, work on tier 2 tickets, and assist with the schedule. You must be comfortable managing many tasks at once. Our company is hiring a full-time Onboarding & Support Specialist operating out of our office in downtown Eugene. The position is Monday through Friday with hours generally between 8am and 5pm.
Job Duties Include:
  • managing the onboarding of commercial clients
  • coordinating internal processes to make sure team in on the same page for onboarding
  • communicating with new clients, listening to their needs, and adapting normal processes to fit those needs
  • opening, managing, and resolving customer tickets
  • taking customer payments
  • tier 2 troubleshooting of network issues and equipment
  • complete new customer orders from incoming calls
